Senior Youth happens every Friday during the school term from 18:45 to 21:30 at the Howick Community Church. It is aimed at young people in grades 8-12.

The aim of Friday Night Youth is for young people to be able to meet, socialise and learn about God in a safe and relaxed environment.
At the beginning of this year we started a Youth Band which has progressed in leaps and bounds, our intention is that the Youth Band leads us in worship every second Friday evening. On the alternate Fridays we will have a fun event which might turn out to be weird and wacky as well!

What is the point of young people gathering together in their own free time as an organization associated with Christianity. Ideally, the Senior Youth can and should represent a body of Christ - like individuals that are full of youth, energy and passion for each other and Jesus and thus their meeting together reflects this. Biblically we find Mary and David both of senior youth age being used powerfully by God for the extension of His Kingdom. [more]

Our Junior Youth, known as “Survivors” began in 2005 and has been run by Leah Povey since then. Survivors is aimed at Grade4 – Grade 7 and meet on Friday afternoons from 16:30 – 18:30. We run throughout the school terms but break for school holidays.

The aim of Survivors is to invite children from the community to the Church and to introduce them to God in a fun and exciting way. Our goal is for individual, personal and spiritual growth in the lives of those who attend. [more]
