Summer
Camp
Summer Camp is a Youth Camp which is run
at the end of every year by the Baptist
Youth of South Africa. The camp is held
at the Deo Gloria campsite on the banks
of the Vaal River about 50km from Kimberley.
Two camps are held following each other,
and approximately 1000 young people from
all over South Africa and further afield
attend each camp.

Holiday
Club
This year’s Holiday Club was held
from June 30th to July 4th and the theme
was “The Wild Side”. We spoke
about men from the Bible who had gone wild
for God...men such as Noah, Abraham, David
and Daniel. We also spoke about Jesus who
paid the ultimate price in being ‘Wild
for God’.

for the Midlands
In February 2007 a group of 10 men gathered
at the home and invitation of Derrick Dixon
to discuss the possibility of starting a
Men’s Fellowship at the Howick Community
Church
