Chris is a member of the Church and was appointed a Becomer for the Youth for the calendar year 2010. Chris is the eldest son of Robin and Sharon Barnsley, who are both members of the Church. Chris matriculated at Maritzburg College at the end of 2009 and elected to have a gap year during 2010.
It was decided by the Executive of the Church to appoint a Becomer each year to assist with Youth matters.
Chris’s responsibilities are as follows:

To run the Senior Youth on a Friday evening

To assist and be part of the team organising the Contemporary Worship Service each Sunday evening

To organise and control registrations for the Summer Camp

To assist and help with the Holiday Club and any other Youth matters which may arise
Chris has got a real love for the Lord and has a real passion to preach God’s Word whenever he can. He also assists with IT matters in the Church and the sound desk for the worship team.
